Beef tallow is rich in naturally occurring fat soluble vitamins A, D, E, K and B12, plus conjugated linoleic acid and niacin.

5 Reasons to Use Tallow on Your Skin
1) Tallow contains the same fats or lipids found in healthy, supple human skin. Tallow contains the closest fatty acid profile to our own skin and oil, allowing it to be absorbed easily. Every cell in our bodies is made of lipids. They are responsible for the free flowing of liquids in and out of our cells.
2) Tallow is Loaded with antioxidants. Tallow contains Vitamins A, D, K, and E, all antioxidants. Antioxidants fight free radical damage. Free radicals are molecules in our bodies that damage our skin by becoming unstable. Damage from free radicals causes our collagen to break down, which leads to wrinkles, fine lines, dark spots, and saggy skin. Vitamin E in beef tallow has also been found to prevent the breakdown of collagen. “The intake of natural vitamin E products helps against collagen cross linking and lipid peroxidation, which are both linked to aging of the skin.” (source)
3) Tallow Does Not Oxidize! Tallow is stable and does not oxidize or go rancid easily, unlike various plant-based products that can damage skin cells.
4) Tallow has antimicrobial properties. Antimicrobial properties halt the spread of microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, and viruses. Our skin is exposed to many different surfaces a day, and as our largest organ, it can be an ideal place for microorganisms to grow and spread.

First and FOREMOST. The Tallow we work with, which is the base of all of our products.
Only comes from Local Kansas & Missouri Grass-fed Cows.
Second. Our Cleaning process. Some folks will call it “rendering”. We call our process Cleaning, because that is what we are doing.
We not only remove the non-tallow parts.
We also remove the Smell. AND we don’t have to use Bleach to do it!
Our Process Takes a little longer. But only because we want to guarantee each order that goes out, is as clean as the stuff we’d provide to our Families!
